Platinum & 18ct Gold Diamond Ring

Created for a private client with a preference for the geometric lines of the 'deco' style, this ring combined the form of both an eternity and solitaire rings.

I have used 18ct yellow gold claws with which to set the fine quality 1.02cts pear-shaped diamond, to create contrast with the platinum used in the ring. This colour difference emphasises both the yellow and the white of both precious metals.

The low setting of both the principal stone and the channel-set, princess-cut diamond shank are designed to be virtually invisible, thus presenting both maximum 'glitter' and durability.
